It’s been a couple months since The Walking Dead’s season 3 has ended and we’re slowly approaching Season 4. While the wait is long and painful so far the payoff has continued to be worth it for all of the fans out there. Since we’re obviously not going to be waiting until Season 4 starts for production news we’re starting to see a bit of information trickling in.
In this piece of casting news it looks as if Lawrence Gilliard Jr will be signing up to be another survivor in a world overrun by zombies. Will he be playing a zombie? Of course not. The suspected role is that he’s up for Roy Stark. Those who have followed the comic but aren’t familiar with Roy may be more familiar with Sgt. Abraham from the comic series who many believe Roy is either based on or a code name for as he is described as an army medic haunted by his past.
It may help Lawrence Gilliard Jr’s chances getting in on the show as he’s already worked with Chad Coleman (Tyrese) when they both were on one of my all time favorite shows, The Wire.
