When are we going to see Detention of the Dead?
Well it looks as if the zombedy that claims to be a mixture between The Breakfast Club and zombies is finally able to hit our personal collections thanks to Anchor Bay. The studio that loves to give us a good chunk of our yearly released zombie flicks have picked up the rights to ‘Detention of the Dead’ and we’re going to be able to order our DVD and Blu-Ray copies for a July 23rd 2013 release!
If you are more of a fan of digital media though it will be available On Demand for most networks on June 18th 2013.
Wishing for Detention of the Dead on the big screen?
The film will be being shown at select theaters on June 28th 2013. If you have a theater in your area known for early or indie releases you may just want to get in touch with them to see if they are going to be one of the few that do get the theatrical release!
What is Detention of the Dead about?
A group of teenagers trapped in detention, fight for survival after their classmates turn into a ravenous zombie horde. Can a cheerleader, a stoner, a jock, a bully, a goth, and a nerd put aside their differences for one night to take on the undead? Will they live to see the morning? Fat chance! This is High School after all.
