The Walking Dead #1 Variant Cover by Julian Totino Tedesco, Exclusively at Philadelphia Comic Con 2013
Argentine artist Julian Totino Tedesco, known for his work for Marvel comics, including X-Men, Venom, and Spiderman, has created the limited edition Walking Dead #1 variant cover for Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con — which kicks off tomorrow, May 30 and runs through Sunday June 2. All regular price ticket holders will receive a copy of the variant cover comic for FREE! (while supplies last) This will be the third in a series of Wizard World Convention exclusive variant covers, following variants created for the Portland and St. Louis events.
Tedesco will be appearing at PCC to meet fans and sign copies of the comic. The Walking Dead will have a big presence at PCC this year, with Norman Reedus, Michael Rooker, and Jon Bernthal all appearing for a panel on Saturday June 1, autographs, and photo ops. Other zombie-related guests this year include Tom Savini and Romper Zombie artist Luke Vaan-Horne. (See here for a full list of programming.)
