We don’t have a lot of information available on the two movies yet but it looks as if of the 6 films that Matador has in the works 2 of them are going to be our favorite undead theme of the zombie. Not only that but they are apparently to start production late in 2013.
The first of the two films will be ‘Plague of the Undead’ who has the co-writing of Paul Gerstenberger and Orlando Cubitt. It will have something to do with being set in the dark ages with absolutely no information past that. Still zombies vs knights? I’d be totally down on watching that!
The second one sounds like it would bank better as a zombedy (while it could be serious) as the film is entitled ‘Zafari’ which is a co-production with Nick Gillot. This one will be at a zombie safari resort. Yes they have zombies for the guest to come hunt and kill. I’ve read a huge variety of books in the past about hunting live humans on resorts like this but I suppose it being zombies that you are hunting really takes it up a notch. I hope this is a serious horror film and not a zombedy as I think the potential on this one is huge!
