Well it looks as if the Television Critics Association has put The Walking Dead forward as the best Program of the Year in this year’s award ceremony. While we won’t exactly know it stacks up against the other contestants (one of them being a rival AMC show, ‘Breaking Bad’) until the ceremony itself on August 3rd we do know that zombies are damn awesome. The Walking Dead ahs been a stand out show that has won over viewers and critics alike and even though there are naysayers out there it’s hard to disagree with popular opinion.
the Television Critics Association announced its nominees for the 2013 TCA Awards, and The Walking Dead was honored with a nod in the Program of the Year category.
The nomination is one of five netted by AMC this year, with Breaking Bad receiving nods for Individual Achievement in Drama and Outstanding Achievement in Drama as well as Program of the Year; and Mad Men receiving a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Drama.
