Thanks to Bloody-Disgusting we’ve recently found out that Left 4 Dead 3 has been making appearances in the Steam database. This could mark the first time that Valve has ever been able to make a third entree into any of it’s video game franchises with this series, Portal, and Half-Life all seeing to be unable to do so – until now.
A developer who was recently banned from Steam for poking around where he shouldn’t found the following images:
and had this to say: “I brute forced it in a way, there were lots of interesting things I found. L4D3 was the most interesting although it hasn’t been updated in months so it may be dead..”
So is this the light at the end of the tunnel for Left 4 Dead fans the world over? Are we actually seeing a trilogy of one of the most beloved zombie franchises to actually emerge from the bowels of Valve’s creative think tank? We’ll all be eagerly awaiting to hear more but hopefully this is the first trilogy of many to finally come out of Valve’s offices.
