Thanks to Access Hollywood sitting down with Lennie James, we’ve had a very interesting interview to read with the man who played Morgan on the show. Not only did he enjoy his time there but he would happily return if a role is presented!
It doesn’t have the words I wanted to read – that he’ll be returning for season 4 – but it’s still a fun read. (He says he’d be happy to be back guys! Write him into the next season!)
When asked if he would want to return to the show he responded:
Yeah, sure, I’ve had nothing but a good time while I was there and ‘The Walking Dead’ family and Andrew Lincoln and everybody down there have been really good to me and good for me, so of course I’d go back.
I have a lovely time there and [if] they keep writing me stuff that’s like [what] they’ve done in the past, then who would turn that down.
When talking about his return to the show last season in the episode ‘Clear’ he had this to add in about the experience:
It was really exciting.â€
“It was one of those where you just — you’re excited by… the potential of the scenes that he’d (Scott Dimple) written.
It was a fantastic episode and they’d written some really lovely stuff for me to do. All I had to do really was to step up and try not let anybody down.
Let us down? Hell no Lennie your little bit of madness from that episode had a lasting impression that I’d love to see return to the show! I fully understand that you are a lead on ‘Low Winter Sun but I’d love to see you back in The Walking Dead where you rightfully belong!
