Malaysian Zombies? Hell I’ll bite (specially after watching this pretty awesome trailer!) Yes it’s a comedy and zombedy’s are slowly starting to over saturate the market (let’s be honest, not everyone is cut out to make a funny movie.) This one by Woo Ming Jin looks like it could be a blast though! (Thankfully we have subtitles here unlike the original teaser so that’s a bonus!) While seeing zombies in Kuala Lumpur (Think the last James Bond movie for those who recognize the name from some other film and don’t know geography) is a plus and the action sequences look like they could be amazing the comedy may fall short for some as it might not translate well for everyone.
Me? I’d personally love to see it though suspect it will be quite some time before a fully subbed or dubbed copy of the film hits US shores.
