When Brad Pitt was recently at the Toronto International Film Festival Variety had a chane to sit down and talk to him. With ‘World War Z’ having been a smash success earning over $500 million a the box office after a ton of negative production problems you just knew it would be coming up.
The director wants to make it into a trilogy and Pitt had this to say on a sequel:
We’re certainly talking about it, yeah. We have so many ideas on the table from just the time we spent developing this thing and figuring out how zombie worlds work. We have so many ideas and so much information, we think we have a lot of stuff to mine from. We’re going to do our best and see what we get out of it.
As this was Brad Pitt’s largest opening film ever it’s no surprise that a sequel would be in the works.
That and zombies are awesome, even CGI ant zombies..
