EvilDeadHalloween is just around the corner so it’s definitely time to start thinking about your zombie costume. Contact lenses will allow you to add a real sense of evil to your eyes, projecting a depraved edge which repels onlookers and scares your friends.

Being creative is the key at Halloween; a well-delivered zombie outfit will make you the scourge of the party – try to do something completely unique.

Here some ideas to get you started, together with zombie contact lenses from Eyesbright.com:

Zombie Cop

Police officers are prime for a zombie make-over; transformed from keepers of the peace to destroyers of humanity in one fatal bite.

To create your outfit combine a base coat of light brown or dull-grey face paint, adding some purple around the cheeks and eyes to give the impression of bruising. Add some black around the eyes and cheeks, getting darker towards the centre to provide a sunken-skull look.

To make your friends think you have been feasting on bones, try making this disgusting zombie mouth face prosthetic:

For the eyes, you want contact lenses that complement the colour of your uniform, which should be blue and black or white and black, for American or English coppers. These black-out lenses will work really well, giving the impression that you have ‘turned’:

Buying your cop props should be simple enough, but why not take some inspiration from this zombie cop video?

American Footballer zombie

American football kits look really impressive as they are, with large shoulder pads and a protective helmet making you seem big, strong and aggressive. Add in some zombie features and you have a real recipe for death.
We recommend that you find an old American football shirt, preferably white coloured, like The Dallas Cowboys or New England Patriots, and smear over lots of fake blood.
Then use this burnt face makeup tutorial to give your friends a horrible surprise when you take off your helmet:

For the contact lenses, use something sharp and piercing, like White Out or Blood Shot lenses:

Zombie Avatar

For something really original, why not dress up as an Avatar zombie? You can combine N’avi tribe  make-up effects, using the below tutorial, with some zombie touches:

For example, add in bullet holes on your forehead or a bloody-eye effect.

Remember Hostel? You could even add in this missing eye effect, which is absolutely horrifying:

Your lenses should complement the turquoise blue colour of your outfit while giving off a zombie energy. We suggest using these Avatar lenses, which glow a fiery gold:

There are so many different ideas you can come up with for zombie outfits, you could try and give famous film characters a zombie twist, or combine traditional fancy dress costumes like a nurse, doctor or superhero with an evil dimension.
