Max Brooks is known for his writing for a variety of books at this point. You have have heard that one of them called ‘World War Z’ was recently the inspiration for a movie that apparently did somewhat well at the box office.
To follow that up it would appear that his vampire/zombie crossover comic known as ‘Extinction Parade’ which was put out by Avatar Press is currently in the process of being picked up by a production company in Hollywood. While this is still a rumor the rumor was run by Bleeding Cool who is owned by Avatar Press (though they claim this was given to them by an independent source and not their parent company.)
So expect to see more Max Brooks goodness hit the screen soon! Hopefully this time they stay a bit truer to the source material though to make it work. Or, you know, sell it based on a big name actor like Brad Pitt and his amazing hair.
