Danny Trejo just loved battling the undead. He’s been in a slew of low to mid-budget films now where it’s him vs zombies and now he’s at it again! This time up he’s doing battle with the ‘Volcano Zombies’! The film is being directed by Rene Perez (‘The Dead and the Damned’) and written and produced by Jeff Miller and Jason Ancona (co-writers and producers of ‘Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan’). We’re going to see zombies that are brought forward by a curse and a sheriff and his estranged family escape a volcano and the undead. Trejo is playing a native warrior who knows about the curse though it doesn’t say how exactly he will be involved in it. Also in the cast we’ll see: Tom Downey (‘The Beast of Bray Road’), Moniqua Plante (‘Femme Fatales’), Robert F. Lyons (‘Dark Night of the Scarecrow’), Nicole Cummins (‘Logan’), Kevin Norman (‘Melissa & Joey’), Kyle T. Heffner, Julia Lehman (‘Cheerleader Massacre 2’), Tom Nagel (‘Hillside Cannibals’), and Jenny Lin (‘Piranaconda’).
