10 years ago at Sundance Lionsgate picked up ‘Saw’ and now it’s writer Leigh Whannell has a new film that was picked up by the company, ‘Cooties’. The film is set to star Elijah Wood and gives us zombie children that’ll have to be dealt with! As a parent the only thing I can tell you that is creepier than zombies… is children! 😉
Cooties follows a struggling writer/substitute teacher whose first day at an elementary school sees him dealing with a virus that turns the kids into mindless killing cannibals. The teacher bands with the survivors — played by Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBrayer and Leigh Whannell, among others — to figure out an escape from the school.
