Whovians rejoice! Now there happens to be a bit of Doctor Who in your love of the undead as Matt Smith has joined the cast of ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’!
What is his role? Will he travel back in time with a sonic screwdriver to save the world from the undead plague? These are the questions we need answers to! (The answer to the first question is below and I’m going to go out on a limb and say no to the second.)
Smith will be joining the cast as “Mr. Collins, a parson who is on the lookout for a wife and proposes to Bennett.”
No word on how large a part he will have in the film but fans everywhere are seeing two of their genres get a bit of a mashup here. With how outrageous the premise of ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ is the directors could really throw in a nod to Smith’s previous work without missing a beat. I mean, they won’t but it’s nice to dream.
