Now, as far as video games go, I’m a huge fan of demos. Most companies don’t release those anymore, these days, which is a crying shame. While I haven’t heard anything about a demo for upcoming zombie apocalypse/parkour video game Dying Light, its developer, Techland, has just released a sort of “choose your own adventure” video on YouTube. You don’t control the game, per se, but the video keeps presenting you with two possibilities, and you choose which the video will follow. While the ultimate end of the video is the same, there are some wrong choices that do lead to you dying. So, while I would much prefer a demo, I’ll be honest and say that this video has whet my appetite for the game. I hope Dying Light can deliver on the promises

Dying Light is slated for release in North America on January 27th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

If you’re the adventurous type and don’t mind buying before you try, then Dying Light is available for pre-order from Amazon.
