Today AMC announced that the war between Negan and Rick will continue when The Walking DeadSeason 8 premieres Sunday, October 22 and 9/8c.
While that may be months away, fans can start speculating on who will prove victorious thanks to the show’s poster for Comic-Con International: San Diego 2017.
The image, which will appear on banner ads around the fan-based convention, features Rick and Negan, looming above their armies as they prepare for battle.
The Walking Dead Comic-Con panel will take place on Friday, July 21 at 12:15PM PT in Hall H featuring the cast and creators of the series.
In addition, AMC will also be present at MLK Park with a fan activation for fans of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. The sprawling outdoor activation space will feature interactive experiences Thursday July 19 through Saturday, July 22 from 11AM to 7PM PT.
The Walking Dead returns Sunday, October 22 at 9/8 on AMC.
