Author Archive: Lyle Perez

Lyle Perez is the creator of www.UndeadintheHead.com, a website dedicated to zombie books and the authors. Lyle feels it is his responsibility to review all zombie literature presented to him. Humbled by the success of Undead in the Head, Lyle decided to give writing his own zombie fiction a try. His very first zombie short story, Dement, was submitted to May December Publications for their First Time Dead anthology. Dement was accepted and is set to print early 2011. A full length zombie novel is also in works from this young writer. His love for the zombie genre is expressed in every review and in every story he writes. Expect more zombie literature and reviews from Lyle.

Interview With S.G. Browne

Interview With S.G. Browne

S.G. Browne Interview Why did you choose to glamorize zombies? I don’t know if I’d call it glamorizing zombies as much as it is just offering a different perspective. When you think about it, most zombie film and fiction is about the people rather than the zombies. I wanted to tell a story about the [...]

Dead Earth

Dead Earth

REVIEW: Dead Earth: The Green Dawn by Mark Justice & David Wilbanks Dead Earth is an extremely short novella. Eighty something pages on paper that is a tad bit smaller than trade paper. Don’t let the size of this novella discourage you from reading the story. Despite the size of this book, Dead Earth is [...]

Het Madden Review

Het Madden Review

REVIEW: Het Madden by Calvin Miller Het Madden is not your typical zombie story. The reader doesn’t follow a group of survivors on their struggle to survive. Instead, Miller tells his story through the eyes of one of the undead. Hetfield Madden begins his day normal but quickly takes a turn for the worst. A [...]
