Helms Deep Left 4 Dead Mod

Normally I probably wouldn’t post about a map mod for a PC game but a Lord of the Rings Escape from Helms Deep mod for Left 4 Dead? C’mon! How Awesome is that?!

Helms Deep is a medieval survival map based from Lord of the Rings that takes place in a mountain valley. Defend and survive against hordes of zombies in this fantastic map!

Zombie Shooter 2

There’s a few games out similar to this on the 360 right now but Zombie Shooter really did beat them all to the punch on when it came out. The sequel is vastly superior to the original though some of the newer independently made ones appear to be a bit more rich feature wise. Still worth checking out!

Zombie Shooter 2 is a unique blend of two game genres – Action and RPG. Every player can choose a character to the liking, get experience to develop skills, earn money and spend it at weapons, medications and useful devices. All of this will be used against thousands of enemies. The zombies fill the game screen, never letting you rest, even for a minute.

Who Needs A Fancy Next Gen System To Play Everyone’s Favorite Zombie Shooter?

Sadly as it’s my Birthday week (Yes I’m so great it takes a full week for the celebrations to die down, it has nothing to do with me being at the day job as I type this) I haven’t had a chance to play this yet and probably won’t until next week. However when I first wrote on this I was nothing but excited on the thought of an 8-Bit Left 4 Dead game. As time has passed I am STILL excited and can’t wait to give this a shot!

Pixel Force: Left 4 Dead is a retro de-make of Valve’s hit zombie killing masterpiece. Lovingly recreated in a fashion that would have been acceptable in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, this de-make stands as the flagship title of the upcoming Pixel Force series from Eric Ruth Games. Go alone, or invite a friend for 2 player co-op against the zombie apocalypse in all 4 of the original game campaigns. 2 difficulties and all 4 of the survivors make a glorious 8-bit appearence, complete with first and second tier weapons scattered along your path to escape.
