ZomBCon gathers a ghastly gang of actors, authors, filmmakers, and makeup artists for a three-day convention dedicated to all things nonliving. Zombie enthusiasts can enter the gates of zomBcon dressed in normal street clothes and armed to the gills with faux weaponry, dolled up as a member of the undead, or costumed as a corporate drone. Stagger around other ghoulish sights while watching feature films and engaging with creative industry folk. Horror visionaries Tom Savini, a special-effects makeup artist, Sid Haig, from The Devil’s Rejects and Night of the Living Dead, and the Avellan twins from Planet Terror and Machete, along with dozens of others, will make a guest appearance to bestow their best zombie-fighting tips and post-apocalypse social-networking strategies.

Adventurers who prefer shadowy figures over expired citizens can opt for the True Blood Bloody Fan(g) package and meet Sam Trammell, the sultry, shape-shifting bar owner Sam Merlotte on HBO’s True Blood. Chat with Sam face-to-face to learn a few secrets about the show and ask him any burning questions, such as whether or not Sam Merlotte can shape shift into a mailbox. Gangsters, Guns, and Zombies’s Undead

We previously showed you the early trailer for this film and now we’re happy to show you some of the undead that will be starring in this film for a few of the early takes.

It’s a independent, UK, micro-budget feature film called “Gangsters, Guns & Zombies” – no prizes for guessing what it’s about!

However, you might be surprised to find out is a highly commercial, fast-paced ‘GangsterZomCom’ and we’ve managed to secure a fabuous cast and crew – for free! – just from the strength of the script alone (Huggy Leaver from ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ and a SFX Supervisor from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, X-Men First Class and The Wolfman for example).

The Walking Dead’s Humorous Welcome To Comic Con

Glen (Steven Yeun) has a great (see: very entertaining) welcome to Comic Con for The Walking Dead fans. He gives a bit of a heads up on what to expect while at the Con (The booth, poster signing, a contest, and a few other bits) and of course there is a horde of the undead.

If you aren’t attending Comic Con it’s still worth watching just to see what is going on in the background in this short 1 minute video.

Zombie HD Trailer And BR Release Information

That’s right ladies and gentlemen Zombie, the epic classic by Lucio Fulci, is getting a HD Blu-Ray release on October 25th of this year and all I can say is WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG?! Thought by many as the sequel to Dawn of the Dead it fits the feel and timing of the world that Romero created as is just overall an entertaining film.

The Walking Dead’s Otis Is Cast

Well it’s official. The walking Dead has found it’s Otis in Pruitt Taylor Vince. It’s no longer news that The Walking Dead is going to take place on Hershel’s Farm and the foreman on the farm, Otis, is now a go. Otis is a ‘slightly’ important character for this story arch but I can’t say more without giving away spoilers.

Zombie Musical In The Works

According to Dread Central, Black Camel Pictures (the company behind Outpost: Black Sun) has a zombie musical in the works! While there isn’t much in the way of details (or say even a name) we do have a brief description.

When Anna starts at a new school in a small Scottish town, she is forced to deal with more than just cliques and strict teachers: a zombie outbreak which forces a band of high school students to do anything to survive, including singing and dancing their way to escape. This action-packed comedy promises to be a fresh twist on the zombie genre.

With the lack of information though expect a long wait until we have even a trailer to show you.
