Well we previously had announced that All Zombies Must Die! was set to infect XBLA this week but according to Game Guru it looks to be infecting PSN users this week as well!

It’s a fun looking little zombie shooter as displayed by the trailer above and should be a blast to play!

It looks as if All Zombies Must Die! will be infecting the X-Box Live Arcade in the near future for your enjoyment! It’s a new top down, twin stick shooter that Square Enix will be publishing. It was originally planned for just PSN and Steam but oh how the times have changed. It looks like at least graphically it will be a blast and if Square Enix is behind it that won’t be the only enjoyable part!

The game will allow up to four players in co-op mode which looks to be a blast and you’ve got 4 characters to choose from so you won’t be stuck with the same ones on screen in just different colors.

Who can you play as?

Jack – The Gamer. Like you and me, Jack LOVES games! Every possible waking moment is spent in his comfy chair in front of his setup at home destroying cities, saving civilians and, more importantly, killing stuff (mainly zombies, but anything goes in games). Jack has awoken to a dream he has wished for for as long as he can remember… a Zombie Apocalypse. Grabbing his trusty shotgun he leaves the house immediately for some gratuitous fun… Jack is pretty sure that this can’t possibly be reality, but is enjoying it so much he doesn’t care…

Rachel – The Girl. Rachel is a bit high maintenance… ok maybe a LOT… She’s Jack’s ex and she despises him with a passion fueled by years spent as Jack’s second favourite pastime. She HATES games almost as much as she despises Jack and just wants this whole thing to end. NOW!

Brian – The Geek. Brian is your average mummy’s boy turned social-outcast genius. This zombie apocalypse is the most interesting research project he’s found yet… since the trying to make a girlfriend project didn’t work out that is. Unlike the others, he has a vested interest in what’s going on, but it’s not always clear why…

Luxo – The Alien. Luxo has spent the last few years living “under the radar” on Earth, getting by with minor parts in B-movies playing… you guessed it… Aliens! As you can see, he is a master of the art of disguise. Luxo can’t really speak English, so initially he needs Brian to help translate for him. There is a slight problem in this as a) Luxo doesn’t entirely trust Brian (he may have had something to do with his spaceship crashing on Earth) and b) he likes to use profanities, which Brian censors out.

Trailer: Rise Of Nightmares

Color me excited. A 360 exclusive where you can use the Kinect as your interface to fight off zombies. While Sega may have forgotten long ago how to make a Sonic game they sure as hell still can make some fun horror themed games! While this isn’t a ‘zombie only’ game from what it says there are absolutely hordes of undead in the screenshots to fight through. (I’m REALLY hoping they make a good Kinect interface for this one.)

Zombie Holdout Demo Released!

It was only last week that we gave you the initial Zombie Holdout Preview and as promised they have a fully working demo of the game available now for those who able able to use it. Absolutely a work of art in the making if it’s even half as fun as it looks! (I hope to have a chance to try it out this week.)

Developed in just over a week, Zombie Holdout really demonstrates the speed of development in Unity3D — even using cutting edge interfaces and new gameplay concepts.

The concept in Zombie Holdout is simple — survive the horde! An interesting element created by the use of an NI is the addition of the physical element. No longer is survival based purely upon your reflexes and attention to detail — now the physical dimension comes to play. How long can you last before you succumb?

Obviously this is only a tech demo which would require fleshing out in nearly every direction for a full release — from art through to gameplay there is a lot of room for improvement. We figured some people might be interested in giving this a crack however — which is why we’ve made a download available at Pixel Ninja Games

With a longer development cycle and some attention from the art side of Pixel Ninja, Zombie Holdout could make a pretty neat Xbox Live game. Right now however everyone’s focus is on getting our “Project X” polished and ready for presentation.

Zombie Holdout Trailer and Info – The First Zombie Kinect Game

So this is just a tech demo but it’s something that does seem to be in the works! While it looks like we’re not going to see this coming out for actual game play quite yet I’ll be sure to keep you updated if we find any further details! While the look still shows exactly how much it is in beta the concept? Fraking awesome!

This is a quick tech demo using Kinect and Unity. It involves zombies and guns, simples. The player moves his arms to aim and pushes them forward to shoot.

This is the first outing from Pixel Ninja but is not currently our main focus.

All the art guys are currently somewhere in the asset pipeline for the Project X prototype. We think they may have forgotten how the torch works as there seems to be little light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t worry, we can hear them scraping their way forward, so progress is certainly being made.

With a code base in place for the Project X prototype, I found time to rattle together this quick Kinect prototype.

TRAILER: The Zombie Shotgun Massacre 2 (360)

So this fun little indie X-Box 360 title from Dual Haze reminds me quite a bit of Oneechanbara. Well assuming Oneechanbara was a side scroller where the busty, scantily clad women played with guns instead of swords. Of course that could just be me. Still for the price point of virtually nothing if you are looking for a new zombie killing game on the 360 it may be worth it!

Alice returns in this action packed sequel to continue her fight for survival! Battle through all new environments, fight new types of zombie and take on new quests to advance the plot. Survival horror has never been so real!

TRAILER: Dead Rising 2 Case West

The time for the return of Frank West to the Dead Rising franchise is almost at hand! At least for the owners of the 360 edition of the game you’ll be able to play Frank again while bashing zombies brains in within a week!

Featuring Frank West and Chuck Greene in zombie slaying co-op action, the pair embark on a brand new case set in the Phenotrans Facility on the outskirts of FortuneCity. This stand alone title will feature all new content, combo weapons, enemies and the return of Frank’s photography skills.
