Dark Bunny Presents a Limited Edition Shaun of the Dead Shirt

Looks like it’s shirt day at Buy Zombie as apparently I made a good impression with the guys at Dark Bunny Tees with our post showing off the greatness of their Dawn of the Dead shirt as we currently have an exclusive offer for you. The greatness of pre-ordering their Shaun of the Dead (as well as a few others) inspired Fried Gold Recruitment Farm shirt! Who can forget how Shaun of the Dead ended with a new work force in place. There was also the added bonus of the name tag of the male worker being ASH. If you don’t get that one it pains me to have to mention Evil Dead. Not to mention the zombie on the phone who looks ALL too familiar!

Inspired by the shots at the end of the film showing the aftermath of the zom…..sorry…won’t use the z-word!…..outbreak, this design plays on the fact that some greedy recruitment agency would have jumped at the chance to farm their own disposable staff and rent them out to local businesses.

There are lots of little references in there, I’ll let you work them out. However I couldn’t resist putting the ‘friendly zombie’ Bub from Day of the Dead (1985) in there as the customer service operator! If you didn’t know already, he himself was referenced in Shaun of the Dead via the name of a pizza company that appeared throughout the film.

Dawn of the Dead Gunner’s Den Shirt

I don’t think I need to tell anyone here that not only am I a Romero fan, but I am a HUGE lover of the ever classic Dawn of the Dead. Anyone who knows much about zombie films knows that you need guns (this isn’t ‘always’ the case I suppose but the survivability rate drastically increases) and in the original Dawn of the Dead this means heading through the mall to Gunner’s Den.

In my opinion, perhaps the best of the ‘Dead’ series. To celebrate my love of this film and all things undead Dark Bunny Tees brings you the Dawn of the Dead: Gunner’s Den movie t shirt. Inspired by the Gun Shop in the Monroeville Mall, this spoof advert brings the family together with guns! Look closely and it seems the parents seem to have had a little accident. We can only imagine what those boys will be using those guns for in an hour or so – Morbid I know, but hey!
