FREE YA Zombie Novel – Vampires Drool Zombies Rule by Rusty Ficher

While I personally do not read from the young adult genre I know it has a huge following and I also know that many of our readers do enjoy it. Hell every time I do a post on it I get a few thank you e-mails! That being the case I can’t deny letting you know about a free ebook in the genre being offered to all by the author. So if you love young adult books and free (now honestly who doesn’t love free?) here’s a novel that may just snag your interest!

The Vampires and Zombies at Barracuda Bay High School have a long-standing truce: don’t mess with us, we won’t mess with you.

Of course, if the human kids at Barracuda Bay High knew they were sitting next to the Living Dead in homeroom, well… all bets would be off.

So when Lucy Frost tries to use the fancy heat-sensored paper towel dispensers in the C-wing girls’ room during a busy break from classes, Fiona Rutherford, the nosiest reporter on the Barracuda Bay Bugle, just happens to witness it.

But when she jokingly refers to Lucy as a “zombie,” in the next day’s paper, Fiona unknowingly sets off a chain of events that will change Lucy’s life forever.

Now the vampires want to do away with Fiona, and the only zombie who wants to save her is Lucy. Suddenly Lucy is the only hope Fiona and the rest of her friends have of surviving!

Zombies Cant Dance

Well there isn’t much information available on this (inspirations and whatnot.) Basically though it’s 10 tracks themed around the zombie outbreak. It tells the story of how the outbreak starts and where it goes through the eyes of a few unlikely survivors. Hell the first track is “The Last Party Ever” which tells about trying to have the last party before a nuclear explosion wipes out humanity. It’s kind of entertaining if a bit strange.

Read The Zombie Wilson Diaries For Free! (possibly for a limited time!)

The Zombie Wilson Diaries is a diary of a man who survived a plane wreck, found an island, and the female who didn’t survive but is still around. I don’t know about you but personally if there was a zombie female as my only companion on an island one of us wouldn’t last that long. It’s an entertaining if somewhat odd and disturbing look at one man’s quest to survive alone on an island. Well ‘sort‘ of alone.

The project has gotten picked up to be a full length novel so I’m not sure if this will be online forever as a permanent preview but if your into reading up on a very interesting take on a zombie outbreak (highly centralized with only 1 survivor who isn’t up against hordes of zombies,) you should get a kick out of this one!
