On February 22nd Plants vs. Zombies is going to be infecting the PSVita. Yes I know with any new system it’s only a matter of time before our favorite zombie puzzle game gets a release date but as usual with the new releases as of late we get a few new features!

So what are we seeing here? Both touch screen report and the gyro interface support to collect sun and coins within the game itself. Without new levels or game modes this may be a hiccup for some people wanting to pickup a copy with PVZ2 rumored to be in the works. Is this enough of an update for you to pick up PVZ again? Personally I don’t know anyone with a PSVita (including my Sony loving friends.)

So it looks like Greg Off has a great friend in Imelda Wikamulia in the creation of a Plants vs Zombies themed Birthday Cake and I really have to say it’s highly entertaining.

I’m sure it helps that we love both Plants vs Zombies AND cake here!

I believe the zombies look to be cake pops so he might have not just a zombie level already laid out but more zombies he can use eat as well! (They may just be sugar there really isn’t much information on it.)

It should come as no surprise that Plants vs Zombies will be available on the Amazon Kindle. First off it’s a mobile device, second off it’s based off of Android. Between the two of these it was common sense that we’d be seeing it on the Kindle since in theory wouldn’t be any major changes to get it up and running. It does claim to be optimized for the Fire’s screen size so there could be some subtle changes but I’m pretty sure it’ll be the same version that was released for the Android already aside from that.

Regardless Crazy Dave was a great character creation by Pop Cap and unless he’s based off of a hobo that lives outside of their building, completely original!

Smash Brothers let us have the first ultimate Mashup for video game characters and it involved Mario. Therefor it’s only fitting that Mario ends up in a mash up with Plants vs Zombies! It looks so amazing. I laughed. I cried. I laughed some more! (ok it wasn’t THAT long but it sounded good..)

iPhone Plants vs Zombies Gets A Long Overdue Update

Now this is going to be extremely exciting news for Plants vs Zombie owners who play on the iPhone. Finally a major update to the game that will breath a LOT of life back into it adding a slew of new game types, Crazy Dave’s store, AND achievements. It’s really just a win for owners of the game on the iPhone to finally get some features they’ve been seeing in the game on other platforms.
