The Zoms Kickstarter

The Zoms have been in the works for quite sometime now. Originally it was a plan for a video game and the plushies were created as a way to attract funding. It unfortunately has been tossed into development limbo, however the plushies proved to be such an amazing hit that they spawned into a life of their own.

It’s coming… the ZOM horde!!! And it’s going to be the cutest zombie apocalypse ever.

Until now, ZOMs have all been hand-sewn and only available for sale at conventions, art galleries, and on Etsy. But the demand for these plushy little brain-eaters is starting to turn epidemic.

Left For Dead Boomer Plushy

Left For Dead fans the world over are ecstatic about what could possibly be the coolest plushy to hit the market in YEARS. That’s right folks they made a Boomer.. plushy. I don’t know if I want to shoot it, run in fear from this, or give it a hug but regardless of what you decide you have to admit it’s damn cute!

When we say this Boomer plush is detailed, down to the last bile-infected boil, we’re not even kidding. Even his moobs are surprisingly realistic. TMI? Maybe. The Boomer is the first in a series of Left 4 Dead infected plush designed by Alexandria Neonakis, the artist behind the TF2, L4D and L4D2 holiday greeting cards.

He’s spherical, in an unlucky 13″ x 13″! He belches! He is covered in tumors! But considering all that, he looks pretty happy and is a healthy shade of pink. Squeeze the wart on his right hand and he’ll reward you with one of 10 in-game Boomer sounds from Left 4 Dead 2. Which gurgle, burp, or vomiting sound will you get next? Introducing the plush version of the Boomer special infected, complete with 10 in-game Boomer sounds from Left 4 Dead 2. He’ll soon be joined by other plush special infected to wreak havoc upon your toy collection!

Plushroom Soup Zombies

As october has arrived so have the undead! A few zombies have shuffled their way into Plushroom Soup! There is word that there is more on the way as well. The Yeti and Octopus zombies here are simply fantastic creations. Hell, if I had a spare $70 to blow I’d be picking up the Octozombie in a heartbeat!

Octozombie:

A team of explorers recently captured this juvenile octozombie while searching for sunken treasure. Not wanting the poor wretch to be doomed to life in a laboratory, the explorers placed their find in my care. Don’t worry–this zombie has an appetite only for fish brains, so he is a quite safe companion. Won’t you give him a home?

Handmade 100% wool zombie octopus with needle-felted mouth, eye sockets, eyeballs, teeth, and blood. Detached tentacle reattaches with use of a magnet hidden inside. Approximately 7″ tall.

Fish prey is also 100% wool, with a needle-felted head wound.

Yeti Zombie:

In the arctic, zombies decay at a much slower rate as the extreme cold preserves their flesh longer. This makes zombie yetis extremely dangerous as their lack of advanced decomposition means they’re almost as fast as when they were alive! Run, yetis, run!

This zombie yeti is made of soft faux fur and has a wool face and arms. Gore and face are hand needle-felted, and arms and fingers are wired and jointed for poseability. Yeti stands approximately 12″ tall.

Laughing Manticore’s Zombie Doll’s

Now these are just some cool dolls made for the zombie lovers out there. The Zombie crafters always make so many undead creatures to be enjoyed and these are no different! While obviously I have an interest of what comes back from the dead I do have to admit I’m a bit worried of zombies returning from dead shirts. I know when my shirts are ‘dead’ I usually want nothing else to do with them so these are a bit worrisome!

The Zombie Mommie

You’ve seen ‘em. They come out of theme parks late in the day. They come out of malls, fast food restaurants and parks. You might be one or know one … A ZOMBIE MOMMIE!

Their brains are fried, replaced with 100% new polyester fiberfill. Their eyes are blank and glazed like buttons. Their skin is an strange color like cotton muslin hand dyed in boiling hot water using organic dye. Hair like yarn, poking up and around their brainless heads. They are over the edge, gone around the bend yet still soft and kinda cuddly.

ZOMBIE MOMMIES are not for children. I’ve savagely stitched them but the little zombie makers can still work their evil ways on eyes and “pets”, so keep your ZOMBIE MOMMIE away from the ankle biters!

I’ve created my dolls from all new materials. Each ZOMBIE MOMMIE is approximately 24″ tall. NO TWO ARE ALIKE!!! Because no real mommy is like any other mommy. All dolls will come with an individualized toe tag, a glass bottle of “brainz” (actually natural sea sponge), and a pet snake.

Really how am I supposed to top that description? I mean.. usually I’ll try to insert some kind of a comment or witty remark or.. anything. That’s just great! The perfect description of some of the undead, zombie or stuffed!

Zombie Plush

This is Zombie. He is 12” x 11”. He is made from a mottled velvet with a blue pinstriped suit and red satin tie. His exposed skull is vinyl and his brain is a soft, squishy pink fleece with red squiggly stitching. He’s a workaholic who can’t remember where he works. He is constantly stressed and goes to the mall, but can’t remember why.
