Dead Rising 2 Tales of Terror Developer Diary

If you ask me it’s always fun to watch videos like this. Specially if it has to do with a game that is so eagerly anticipated! Here’s a quick 2 and half minute run through of what the game is about by a few of the developers.

Dead Rising 2 takes place a few years after the first zombie invasion of Willamette. The virus was not contained at the conclusion of the first game, now the virus is running amuck throughout the USA

Previously we told you about the Dead Rising 2 Zombrex Edition which was the US special edition. Soon after Capcom announced the Dead Rising 2 European Special Edition which honestly put the US edition to shame. Not to be outdone there is also a HIGHLY LIMITED edition for the United States available as well. Dead Rising 2 European Special Edition And Release Date

Previously we showed off the Dead Rising 2 US Special Edition and felt it was only share to show this edition for our US readers as well now that we have solid information on it! (We only today got both pieces of information!) First off let me say that the syringe we get looks so much cooler than the zombie you get! … Really! … … I’m jealous. I’m so jealous it’s not even funny. If any of our European readers want to send me one I’ll love you forever. No? You want to keep it for yourself and horde it over me while rubbing it in my face? Fair enough. First reader who sends in a picture of them with the zombie we’ll make a post just for you on the site!

So aside from the zombie you get a Servbot head, a code to get a special downloadable item, and additional content for the game. Unless there are any changes in the US special edition in the near future you completely have us beat out and I applaud your marketing division of Capcom!

So when can you BUY Dead Rising 2?

Well both across Europe and in Australia you just need to wait for September 24th!

Dead Rising 2 Zombrex Edition Information and Pre-Order

Capcom is giving everyone in the United States and Canada a wonderful little treat – an AWESOME edition of Dead Rising 2. Yes we’re getting the “Zombrex Edition) (which I’m sure Europe will have a similar special and Japan will have one that trumps it completely.) Regardless though for $80 there will be an amazing edition available on the launch date (and is available for pre-order now at the end of the post.)

So what’s the big deal about the special edition? How about a steelbook case with it’s own special imagery. Wait. That’s not enough? Fine there might be one or two other special features available (that will differ between the 360 and PS3 editions as well. Cheeky bastards.)

Red Dead Redemption Infected With The Undead

Red Dead Redemption was a smash hit on it’s release. Anything Rockstar Games touches turns to gold and this has been no exception. How then can they make it even better? By adding 4 new expansion packs this coming year.

Wait, why do you care? Oh that’s right – the final pack.

The Undead Nightmare Pack

The final pack that is being added is entitled The Undead Nightmare Pack that is going to add in new single player quests (zzz) though it will have 8 new zombie characters added in for multiplayer! YES!

Age of Zombies Trailer and Screenshots

Coming out on February 24th this fun looking zombie game is coming out for the PS3 and PSP! 2 Systems I don’t own so will be unable to play. Which is unfortunate as this little time traveling gem doesn’t include just the undead but zombie dinosaurs, animals, and more! So, how about a 360 port guys? I don’t have enough money to throw at another system and sadly will probably never got a chance to play this one.

Gameplay Video for Burn Zombie Burn

So I started watching this trailer and got pretty excited on what could be a fun game. Very quickly though I learned two important things. The first of these is that it is for the Playstation 3 meaning that I will never have the opportunity to play it as I’m not shelling out money for a third console. The second of these is that the webpage wouldn’t let me get past the date check in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. While I realize I was born in ‘81 the website apparently won’t let me submit that, believes I am lying, doesn’t like Firefox or IE, or just in general is broken.

Zombie Apocalypse – Minigun Gameplay HD Video

Recently showed off some screen shots from Zombie Apocalypse and of course how could I resist showing you an in game video? I will admit though if the sound effects in this video are the real ones from the game the chances of me actually buying it? Not high. Granted I can always play the game muted or with other sound going but… no. Hopefully that’s just whoever made the video adding in sound? Please?
