Michael Jackson Attacks Plants vs. Zombies From The Grave

Well apparently Plants Vs. Zombies is being attacked by the undead. Undead blood sucking lawyers that is. The ESTATE of Michael Jackson is forcing Popcap Games to remove the Michael Jackson tribute zombie from all versions of the game from PC to iPhone to the upcoming 360 version.

Anyone who follows website knows that I almost never swear in my posts. For a site dedicated to the undead in all of its glory (gore, death, brains) we really don’t swear that often here. We try to be somewhat politically correct (as much as we can be considering our content and passion for all things zombie) since we want to give you a a fun read about zombies that can be enjoyed by the die hard fans to those who only watch films like Zombieland.

So that being said, seriously Michael Jackson’s Estate fuck you. Fuck you and the horse you road in on. This was a tribute to an icon who clearly enjoyed having some fun with the undead and in NO WAY contributed to the montary success of Plants vs Zombies. The fans all got a kick out of it and the idea was praised everywhere and in NO WAY caused or prevented you from earning any money off of his image. Fucking. Douchebags. I am seriously disgusted by this action.

Plants Vs Zombies Hits XBLA In August!

Yes for only 1200MS points this August we are going to have Plants vs Zombies on the X-Box. I’m picking this up on day #1 for both myself (though I’m pretty sure my girlfriend will beat the game before I get a chance to load it! I’ll be banned from the X-Box while she’s at home until she has a chance to plow through the game.)

Big Plants Vs Zombies Announcement Coming On August 2nd!

On August 2nd 2010 in San Francisco something BIG is happening. Something related to Plants Vs Zombies. What that is? We can only speculate. While I would love to guess at an announcement for the sequel I think it is more likely this will be the 360/PS3 official release news. I could be wrong though! We could finally be given information about the long wanted, needed, lusted after sequel to Plants Vs Zombies.

Honestly though I believe it’s more then likely zombies will actually be attacking San Francisco on the 2nd then the sequel being shown off. We will see though. Oh yes. We will see.

Plants vs Zombies Dance Battle

What happens at what has been for years been the biggest gaming event in the year? (We’ll ignore the fact that PAX is doing a good job at taking that title.) Well one thing and one thing only – when they party, they party in style! A style full of plants and zombies! Now talk about a great way to bring about mixing one of our favorite games, with great music again and dancing!

Plants vs Zombies reviewed by a 1.5 yr old!

Here’s another example of someone putting the awwwww back into awesome. (Sorry it had to be said.) A loving father did something to warm even the coldest of undead hearts – he filmed their year and a half year old son playing a video game. Not just any video game but a zombie video game.

Who in their right mind would allow such a young child to play a game against the undead? Consider it training. That and it’s Plants vs Zombies and I’m sure you all know why we can agree to let that one slide. Hilarious ‘review’ from a kid of one of our favorite games.

How is Plants Vs Zombies Doing On The iPhone?

Plants Vs Zombies for PC is one of the most successful Zombie themed PC games in quite awhile. What about it’s iPhone version? How exactly is it stacking up number wise? In the first 9 days Plants vs Zombies sold more than 300,000 copies at $2.99 each. Think about that. In only 9 days they made nearly 900,000 dollars and in fact have already broken the $1,000,000 mark. Who says casual games aren’t worth the investment?

Plants Vs. Zombies Hits The iPhone On February 15th

It is official. The release date of one of the most rave reviewed zombie themed games to have hit the PC is finally ready to infect the iPhone! Yes ladies and gentlemen have your green thumb at the ready as the soon you’ll be growing a whole new breed of plants to fight the undead menace on your iPhone! I mean.. *I* won’t be able to play it, but I’ll be jealous of each and every one of you that can don’t worry. *mutters something about having to use a Blackberry fro the day job*

If you somehow don’t know what Plants Vs Zombies is think tower defense game where you park plants on your lawn to defend it against zombies. With cute graphics, great music, and addictive game play. It’s the only PC game I’ve actually bought since I bought my 360 (and if I knew it was coming out on the 360 I don’t know if I would have waited or not, far too fun!)
