I’m pretty sure I mentioned before that we had posted what had to have been the final trailer for the 3DS game Resident Evil Revelations. I’m pretty sure that this post means I was wrong. Wrong and lying to you that we were done with Revelations trailers as the official launch trailer has to be the ‘final’ trailer. Thankfully this is for a handheld so it’s not like there will be a DLC trailer to show off later… right?

For the first time in the franchise, players will venture underwater in an effort to escape the terrifying creatures roaming the ship. Full of conspiracies and plot twists, Resident Evil Revelations is told in the style of a TV drama as players work to discover the location of Chris Redfield, the source of the T-Virus, and the intentions of a mysterious terrorist organization, Veltro.

Along with the new characters and setting, Resident Evil Revelations debuts a new piece of equipment, the Genesis Scanner. This innovative device allows players to scan the environments and enemy remains to find hidden objects, uncover secrets, and earn additional health benefits. Found objects include customizable weapon parts which tailor weapons to the taste of the player via the in-game workbenches. Customizations range from simple increases in ammunition capacity to affecting the strength of a player’s weapon relative to their health.

Players needn’t face the terrifying T-Abyss virus alone. Raid Mode, new to the Resident Evil® series, offers a different kind of experience separate from the main campaign. Players compete in a variety of time-based missions either solo or cooperatively via online or local play. Players earn points by attacking enemies and select from a range of upgrades to improve their weapon’s performance. New missions, additional ammunition, and custom parts can be earned via the StreetPass™ feature on the Nintendo 3DS system.

Resident Evil Revelations also supports the Circle Pad Pro peripheral from Nintendo. Adding an additional directional pad and two shoulder buttons, the Circle Pad Pro takes the Resident Evil Revelations experience to the next level.

Alan Goldsher created an amazing zombie book in Paul is Undead and as a fan of The Beatles and a fan of anything that comes from Chicago I am happy to share that he has put together the sequel in Give Death a Chance: The British Zombie Invasion 2 and if its even half as entertaining as the first novel will be a must see. Coming in March if you enjoyed the first one you’ll have to be prepping to pick up the new one to see how the British zombie invasion is still going!

Yes, The Dead is coming this month. Africa’s first zombie film that has a huge hit or miss response from audiences (some say it’s too slow some say it’s 110% perfect for a post apocalyptic Africa.) Visually it looks as if it’s hit the nail on the head but as someone who hasn’t seen the film quite yet I can’t give it a plus or minus for full content but these trailers do make it look amazing.

SYNOPSIS

So this is the full minute long trailer for Detention of the Dead and I for one am still looking forward to seeing it. I know zomedies are a bit overdone but this one has the potential to be funny. I mean the last zombie high school movie I saw was an absolute riot (Dance of the Dead) so I’m hoping this one will be as well.

It was bound to happen. If you put large group of conformity driven pubescences, aka your average teenager, together for long enough, you can’t be surprised when one day they decide to eat each other…

Comedy and Horror unite in this “The Breakfast Club” meets “Shaun of the Dead” tale about a group of oddball high school students who find themselves trapped in detention during a Zombie Apocalypse. Can they put their differences aside and work together to survive the night? Fat chance! This is High School after all.

Dead Island. One of the most hyped zombie games of all time isn’t quite through with you yet! Being released todya you now have the chance to pickup the DLC that lets you play as Ryder White. For anyone who hasn’t played the game this is who would be considered your enemy throughout the game and now you find out details on why they are causing all of this to happen.

This trailer takes a closer look at each of the members of the US Government Spec Ops squad and U.S.S. (Umbrella Security Service) and their specific skill sets.

As revealed last month, players will be able to choose their side in three online competitive multiplayer modes: Biohazard, Survivor and Team Attack. In a brutal four-versus-four player team battle players choose their character with unique skills and abilities that will help make them escape the terrifying madness that’s been unleashed on the streets of Raccoon City. Directed by David Lubetzky, Poisoned is the tale about how The Israeli people have to end up dealing with a zombie outbreak. It’s in the works on getting an American release (though nothing is solid yet.) It had a highly successful release in March in Israel so hopefully that means we’ll be able to see a subbed (and of course dubbed) version state side by the end of the year. This one looks to be a lot of fun and there’s three teaser trailers available to enjoy!

Bino Aharonovitch is a legendary Israeli war hero. His son, Danny (David Shaul), is far from it. He does his national service as an assistant custodian in a remote base which serves as the home base of “Nachlieli” (the Wagtail) — one of the IDF’s elite units. He spends his days avoiding the violent soldiers and his OCD captain.

But on Passover night, the worst night for an Israeli custodian, his life is about to change. His high school crush Maya (Orna Shifris) arrives to deliver vaccines to the fighters. She mistakes Danny for one of the fighters and shows interest in him for the first time. Danny keeps up the lie, but fate has different plans. The vaccine makes the elite troops turn into flesh-eating zombies who go on killing the rest of the soldiers in the base. Danny, being the only one left uninfected, runs for his life — until he finds out that he isn’t the only survivor. Used to avoiding conflict, he now realizes that this time there is no escape. Danny is going to have to utilize his only skills in order to save himself and his love — gardening skills!

Working Class Nightmare is a new zombie web series that is starting on 02/12/12 and it looks like it could be extremely entertaining (in a watching a train wreck kind of way.) It’s theory is that the only zombie safe haven is the Jersey Shore so you instantly know they are going to be making fun of a ‘few’ stereotypes. It could be hilarious or it could crash and burn. I’m hoping for the first one though its a joke that could get stale quickly on a regular series but being a web series with shorter episodes one they may be able to pull off for awhile.

Five working class losers go on a life changing journey through New Jersey in which they find love, strength, and purpose. Because the zombie apocalypse can only be a positive experience when you didn’t have much going for you in the first place.

So it’s hard being in a world where the undead exist. However if you think that’s hard imagine having to live with one. Always worrying about it eating people you don’t like. Keeping you protected and out of trouble. Wait… this whole living with a zombie thing might not be that bad after all…

In Pine Falls, a secluded and usually peaceful town, multiple acts of dismemberment and cannibalism have been reported. Nate, an unemployed teenager, is too caught up in his own world to notice or even care. For Nate, a terrible tragedy is when he can’t find the time to hang out with his best friend Steve. Steve is a wise cracking, quick thinking, loyal friend- at least that’s how Nate sees it. The reality is that Steve a Zombie; a living corpse, infected by an infection that raises the dead, giving them an unquenchable desire to feed on human flesh. Despite his gruesome appearance and lack of social skills, the people of Pine Falls consider Steve to be nothing more than Nate’s handsome friend, until it’s too late.

HOLY SHIT DID YOU SEE IT? If you read the comic you should have seen what is most likely an EXTREMELY important scene and turning point in The Walking Dead hinted at in this preview. It’s what I’ve been waiting all season for and is the start of the development of a character that is STILL ongoing and will be extremely important for how the series is going to go from here. I can’t wait. It’s something that is long overdue.
