Multiple Showings of Colin in North America in September

So in the span of 2 days I was informed by 2 e-mails marking the North American premiere of the $75 hit Colin.

Interestingly enough I had seen this in a movie theater already. In North America. In Chicago on November 14th of last year at Zombie Outbreak sponsored by Horror Society. (Which if I recall was not the North American Premiere either.)

Regardless on the wrong information provided by both e-mails on the premiere portion they do provide important information for you – dates and times to see Colin on the big screen!

While the shaky cam may be annoying it’s a GREAT film and if you are in either of these two areas you should make a point to check it out! (Check out my Colin Review if you want to know more!)

A Trailer For Zombie Outbreak In Chicago

Zombie Outbreak is coming to Chicago on the 14th. I’ve already written up on it so if you are curious just click that first link or the one at the end of the post. This is basically just a mini-trailer that has scenes from all of the movies that’ll be shown and if your in Chicago I highly suggest going!

Zombie Outbreak Confirmed

So we have another event fully lined up by Horror Society in Chicago. On November 14th be prepared to experience the Zombie Outbreak! 10 hours of Zombie madness are set to infest the Portage Theater in Chicago and your all invited (assuming you want to buy tickets of course… which you damn well better want to!) A great lineup of movies are in the works and I for one am very excited to be able to make this one!

Zombie Outbreak Is Taking Entries & Premiere Screening Announcement!

underground independent horror you can find on the big screen.

Horror Society is proud to announce the Call For Entries for…

Zombie Outbreak – with special guest Lloyd Kaufman and a Chicago
Premiere Screening of POULTRYGEIST in glorious 35mm.

8 hours of nothing but Zombie Films.

This time around it’s Zombie Outbreak. It’s a 8-hour marathon of
nothing but Zombie Films.

Everyone loves a good zombie flick and we want to see what you got.
Send us your zombie films, shorts, documentary, or music video
featuring the walking dead!
Horror Society is bringing you film festivals every 3 months in the
City of Chicago, and on November 14th we will be bringing you a flesh
eating filled 8 hours of Independent Underground Horror.

Submission is simple and real cheap. We understand that indie
filmmakers are doing these films for the love of filmmaking and not
always for the money. Some of you break the bank, and max out your
credit cards to make these films, so we keep the submission fees real
cheap so you have the chance to get your films screened like they
should be seen.
Fees are only $20 for a short, and $25 for a feature length film. We
want your films to be seen by the people that will appreciate them. No
early submission discounts, or late submission fees either. Simple and
easy, like it should be.

Your film submission must be received no later than October 14th,
2009. No late entries.

So if you think your film has what it takes to be a part of the Zombie
Madness, then submit it now! This festival will feature 8 hours of
brain eating film fun, a zombie makeup contest, vendors, special
guests, Q&A’s, giveaways, and more!

Zombie Fest in Chicago now known as Zombie Outbreak

Mitch from Horror Society just contacted me to let us know that the film fest that they are having in November will be changing names! All of the other information will be the same but head over to Horror Society’s Official Zombie Outbreak page for all of the information!
