Working Class Nightmare is a new zombie web series that is starting on 02/12/12 and it looks like it could be extremely entertaining (in a watching a train wreck kind of way.) It’s theory is that the only zombie safe haven is the Jersey Shore so you instantly know they are going to be making fun of a ‘few’ stereotypes. It could be hilarious or it could crash and burn. I’m hoping for the first one though its a joke that could get stale quickly on a regular series but being a web series with shorter episodes one they may be able to pull off for awhile.

Five working class losers go on a life changing journey through New Jersey in which they find love, strength, and purpose. Because the zombie apocalypse can only be a positive experience when you didn’t have much going for you in the first place.

In Pine Falls, a secluded and usually peaceful town, multiple acts of dismemberment and cannibalism have been reported. Nate, an unemployed teenager, is too caught up in his own world to notice or even care. For Nate, a terrible tragedy is when he can’t find the time to hang out with his best friend Steve. Steve is a wise cracking, quick thinking, loyal friend- at least that’s how Nate sees it. The reality is that Steve a Zombie; a living corpse, infected by an infection that raises the dead, giving them an unquenchable desire to feed on human flesh. Despite his gruesome appearance and lack of social skills, the people of Pine Falls consider Steve to be nothing more than Nate’s handsome friend, until it’s too late.

Well it’s an animated web series that promises there will be zombies, murder, explosions, and death in every episode. On top of that it has an interesting cast that could prove to be interesting in animated form that will clearly conflict with each other quite a bit. If they don’t go too cheap on humor this is something that could be an instant cult classic but it’s hard to tell long term from the trailer so we’ll hopefully be able to have better feedback off the first episode!

ZOMBIE MURDER EXPLOSION DIE! is a new animated show that guarantees each of those 4 things in every episode! And none of these guys should have survived the zombie apocalypse…well, except Jack!

Now here’s a fun idea for a web series. A Zombie reality TV show where in each episode someone dies (talk about a great way to vote people off the ‘island’ .. unfortunately it’s not going to be by vote.) Bonus? Just because someone dies doesn’t mean they are going to be off the show for good, they may always return for a little undead action! It looks like it’s a series that could be a lot of fun to watch for zombie enthusiasts everywhere!

So in this one we’ve got an 11 webisode series coming up that started on November 28th. It’s about a man who runs a delivery service after the outbreak has happened. Yes apparently it’s still calm enough for deliveries to go through. I think I read a book whose name instilled that concept even though the actual content did not. At any rate the trailer looks good so check it out!

All is well in the small town of Lynchfield. The days are boring and normal as businesses open and close. People walk the streets and shop. Everything is normal except for the not so average zombie apocalypse that hit years ago…and it wasn’t a big deal.

We got an e-mail that this trailer was out this morning. For a fan film I have to say it looks pretty damn good. I kind of want to see what they do with the entire series and hope it’s a win. It’s always iffy on seeing what someone is doing with another’s franchise, specially one so well known as Resident Evil. That being said we all know what the majority of people think about the actual movies (live action, not CGI) so let’s see what some fans can do with a solid universe to play in!

Universal Dead is a new web series that has a few episodes out and more in the works. The world is being ravaged by a disease 28 Days Later style though with a name like Universal Dead it may be something a bit worse than what they think.

Zombies. Puppets. Web series. That’s all you need to know! Well honestly there are aliens, and a variety of other things going on too. It’s hard to get a true idea of how the series is going to really be once it’s up and running at full strength from just the trailer but this is one that’ll either be a smash cult hit or a series you pass by rather quickly. Honestly it’s hard to say until it’s actually started but it’s different enough to get at least one view from us when it’s out!

A new web series is coming out of Germany and is called Viva Berlin! The trailer itself looks like it will be, at the very least, interesting.

An unknown plague is rapidly spreading in Berlin. All its carriers turn into bloodthirsty zombies who feed off the uninfected. After a short time, ninety-five percent of the population is dead or undead; Berlin’s face has changed entirely. VIVA BERLIN! is Germany’s first serious attempt at a zombie project. The series consists of five mini-episodes – horror stories without a single soft spot. The ultimate genre experience – as hard and unsparing as true zombie fans appreciate it.

The series official website isn’t launched yet but can be found at VivaBerlin.net.

There isn’t much info provided for this new zombie web series, The Undead, however you can tell from the video they at least have a great camera setup for filming it.

That will either be a huge win for them if it looks amazing or a huge loss if their special effects don’t live up to it. The trailer shows some zombies that do look good and a few shots that look painful. We’ll see what happens when the series itself goes live!
