Teaser: Bloodlust Zombies
Is it wrong that I say ‘teaser’ about a film that stars porn actress Alexis Texas? (Yum) I mean a zombie movie with a porn star as a lead can’t be a bad thing… right? (We’ll just ignore every other instance that’s failed.) Even with the track record against her Alexis may have picked a zombie film that can elevate her to a horror scream queen (instead of the other kind of scream queen.) This is getting bad. I’m going to just stop myself here and say the trailer actually look good compared to my sense or humor which, well, isn’t good!
Like typical 9-to-5 cubicle dwellers, the workers at Zlantoff Industries are just counting down the minutes and seconds by the end of the day. And just like any office, mishaps are bound to happen: split coffee, jammed fax machines..mutant viral outbreaks. When a chemical spill in the lab on an otherwise uneventful weekday puts the entire office on emergency lockdown, the entire staff unwiitingly becomes the first test subjects for an experimental mutant virus. Now, if the biological weapon doesn’t spur cannibalistic murder, the passive aggressive office banter surely will.
Featureing adult film superstar Alexis texas in a breakout role, Bloodlust Zombies isa a rollercoaster ride of sex, gore and action. Part office satire, part apocalyptic catastrophe, director Dan Lantz’s debut feature keeps the laughs – and heads – rolling.
