Review: Last Survivor On The Roof
The zombie outbreak has finally happened… unfortunately it was while you where at your dead end job in a downtown high-rise.
Luckily, like the good zombie enthusiast you are you have a contingency plan for just such an occasion…you load up on all the weapons you can carry and head for the roof to wait for rescue…
Ok, I lied, your plan sucks!! No real zombie expert would ever do that! But that’s the scenario in the game “last survivor on the roof” from HL Tec only $.99 on the app store.
The game is fun, simple and full of zombies.
Controls 4/5
The controls are simple to use. Tilt to move left and right and tap the side of the screen to throw a selected object down on the climbing zombies. If a zombie makes it to the roof shake your device to get him off. That’s it…
Graphics 5/5
The art has an anime feel to it and the colors are just right. The hero is bright and colorful with his necktie headband “Rambo” style while the zombies are dark in their undead business suits as they climb the side of your sanctuary to feast on your sweet brains.
Sound 5/5
The sound is solid. A techno beat fills the background track as your tossed items cause not only a satisfying sound upon impact but the zombies to let out a little groan as they are caused to fall from the side of the building.
Replay 4/5
This is one of those games that is a good space filler when you need one but not much more than that. Though it has achievements to unlock through constant gameplay, the objective never really changes… Throw stuff, hit zombies, repeat. However, I seem to find myself playing it when I get the chance. I recommend you do the same!
