Resident Evil Retribution Release Date And Information
Well it looks like the next Resident Evil film is going to start filming in October. With a release date of September 14, 2012 that gives them plenty of time to crank out a, hopefully, good film.
It looks as if Paul Anderson is returning at the very least to write the script for the upcoming film, though currently there is no word on if he will be directing as well. Originally the last Resident Evil film was going to be Paul’s last foray into the Resident Evil universe but as he is writing this one as well I wouldn’t count it out. Speaking of last forays, the rumor is Milla Jovovich is also expecting to star in the film ,though if early rumors made it sound as if she wouldn’t be attached at all so she may not be the lead. In fact Sienna Guillory was ‘supposed’ to be the lead when the early news broke and now there are rumors that they may be replacing her.
Resident Evil: Retribution will by shooting across the globe and focusing on both Toronto and Tokyo, Japan. To quote Dread Central:
Hopefully once there someone will head to Capcom’s offices and plead with them to stop this madness. Or at the very least … give us zombies again. Remember those things? The cornerstone of the franchise?
