While fans of the novel are up in arms that what they’ve read will never make it onto the big screen you can’t deny that World War Z was a success. Even if you hated the movie (because you didn’t like the pacing, the ant zombies, or the fact that it had nothing to do with the novel) if was a commercial success. With that being said we know there will be a sequel and even if it hadn’t been we knew there would be a DVD and Blu-Ray release. (Note: the majority of our staff enjoyed the film, myself included, once they had mentally renamed it to Brad Pitt’s Zombie Movie.)
While the date and special features aren’t known quite yet we do know that the pricing will end up being set at $24.99 for the Blu-ray and $14.96 for the DVD. So once we hear all of the special features (Interviews? director commentary? makings of? original filmed ending sans post-production? who knows!) we will happily share that with you!
