We’ll always miss Hershel and this is probably his best quote on the show so it’s only fitting that someone created such a great tribute image out of it!
I was personally devastated when Hershel Greene was killed on the TV Show, The Walking Dead. He was always, in my opinion, the most lovable character ever to be featured on the show. He was always incredibly wise and throughout all the events that took place on the show he managed to maintained his moral principles and was an inspiration to all the other characters as well as me. The quote I used for this design is the quote he says when convincing Rick and Maggie to let him help the sick members of the group; “You step outside, you risk your life. You take a drink of water, you risk your life. And nowadays you breathe, and you risk your life. Every moment now…you don’t have a choice. The only thing you can choose is what you’re risking it for. Now, I can make these people feel better and hang on a little bit longer. I can save lives. And that’s enough reason to risk mine.†I think this is his most powerful quote and possibly the most powerful quote ever said by anyone on the show.
