I missed it. Thankfully ComicBook.com didn’t. The first episode back for ‘The Walking Dead’ had a zombie that looked strangely familiar on closer inspection. Say, if you’d seen the 1981 classic ‘An American Werewolf In London’ you might notice that the reanimated Jack on the left above has a look alike in one of the walkers in the forest on the right.
Coincidence? It’s quite possible. I’m much more likely to believe there was some tribute going on here as imitation is the best form of flattery, and it’s not like the special effects crew from the show have to borrow ideas from anything else as they’ve more than proven by now.
