Well with Brad Pitt (and his hair) on board to star and produce the sequel to his biggest opening film of all time, ‘World War Z’ you know it would be moving forward quickly. Obviously with all of the issues on production they were going to go with a new director and that turned out to be Juan Antonio Bayona (‘The Orphanage’, ‘The Impossible’) but there was no word on who would be penning the script for this new film.
Well it looks like we have that all changed around as Steven Knight (‘Locke’,’Dirty Pretty Things’) is on it! He does some pretty great work so I’m looking forward to what he’ll be writing for a plot on the sequel. With a defeat for the undead in site I wonder how they’ll have that all play out on screen? Will we even see much of the original characters or will they go the route of the book that was pretty much ignored and focus on how different regions have survived the end of the world?
