Looking to help make a zombie movie becoming a reality? ‘Zombacter: Center City Contagion’ is based off of a novel has a super low budget needed as they are pretty well into it already and can pretty easily reach their goal with a little help from their undead loving friends. It’s a movie based in a scientific reasoning for a zombie outbreak and when I first heard the film was being done a few years back I was excited. Nowadays? Even more! First, I want to share with you a bit more about Zombacter: Center City Contagion.This all began as an idea for a science-based movie script back in 2003. The idea was simple. Could there be a scientific explanation for a zombie: a truly dead, yet ambulatory, funk-covered filth-bag? Frighteningly, the answer appears to be yes.
I’m a scientist foremost, but when I discovered the fossilized remains of animals seemingly replaced by bacteria; I began writing horror. Not having the means to produce a movie at the time, the Zombacter book series was born.
Center City Contagion is the first book in the Zombacter series and was published by Severed Press in 2011, followed by The Zombie King of Everything in 2012. Last year, I began adapting Center City Contagion to a movie script and this is the subject of our Indiegogo campaign.
