“Will is the story of one man coping with the zombie apocalypse. Everyone says that they have a plan for the (inevitable) zombie apocalypse. Well, Will is a short film which explores this and, of course, how the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
In a lot of ways, this could be the most challenging short film we’ve ever made. As with Change, there is very little dialogue in the film to push things forward so everything relies on us, as filmmakers and performers, to tell the story.
From cinematography to sound design, from set design to costume, from special make up effects to location filming, this is going to be a tough job.
We could have made the decision to make a safe film but where’s the fun in that? Fuck it! As story tellers, our job is exactly that – to tell stories.
We’ll say now that this is a very different zombie film to Stag Night of the Dead. There are no seals, there are no strippers and nobody has their deposit fucked. This is a film which deals with the very real challenges presented by an outbreak of a virus which threatens mankind.“
