pride-prejduice-and-zombiesIn a piece of news that I never thought I would actually share with you it looks as if the movie adaptation for Seth Grahame-Smith’s ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ is actually going to happen. After years of not moving forward it looks as if principal photography is set for this coming September with Cross Creek Pictures having acquired domestic rights.

It looks as if Lily James (‘Wrath of the Titans’), Sam Riley, and Bella Heathcote (‘Dark Shadows’) have been cast as the leads for the film. The film is going to be directed by Burr Steers and is based off of a screenplay co-written by Steers and David O. Russell.

Synopsis:

“The novel plays with the relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England who are faced with the challenge of an army of the “sorry stricken”, aka zombies.”
