While we’re only half way through the fifth season of ‘The Walking Dead’, showrunner Greg Nicotero already has a huge plan for the sixth season. Well, a personal goal that is. In the fifth season he’s got 4 directing episode credits to his name: The premiere, the ninth episode which both he and Andrew Licoln claim that it was one of the best they’ve ever done, the 12th episode which gives Grimes a pretty different look, and the season finale.
In the sixth season though he wants to direct a special episode.
It was brought up that he had previously played a walker on the show which he responded with “I have. I didn’t get a chance to do it this year because I directed four episodes but my goal next year will be to be a zombie in a scene that I direct so I can just direct in zombie makeup which I just think would be fun.”
A zombie director? I’m sure there’s a few of those in Hollywood already but this will be taking the idea to an entirely new height!
