While I’m not sold on Battleworld doing much for the Marvel Universe aside from destroying a lot of what I like about it I am happy to see that the Marvel Zombies are returning. Specifically I love that they are returning at the hands of Si Spurrier who is my absolute favorite Marvel writer from the past three years. This gives me some hope that we’re going to be in for something fun and full of twists when the title drops.
There are 2 zombie series dropping during this event with the other being ‘Age of Ultron vs Marvel Zombies’. That one doesn’t have Spurrier in charge though so I’m not quite as excited for it.
In the book “Bloodstone is tasked with defending a “vulnerable young companion” against the undead hordes while she is haunted by the memory of her father.”
‘Marvel Zombies’ #1 will be released in June.
