It looks as if Gong Yoo has signed on to the cast for the Korean zombie film ‘Bound For Busan’ which is a film that tackles the zombie outbreak when “a viral epidemic that quickly transforms humans into zombies. Gong Yoo plays a Zuk Woo, man who is caught on a high-speed train with his wife when the zombies attack. He must battle them with whatever resources he can find on the train.”
The film will be directed by Yun Sang Ho in his largest budgeted film to make which will have a $10 million budget. The movie is actually set to be a sequel to the animated film zombie film ‘Seoul Station’ which is set to be released later this year though there is no word on an English dubbed or subbed copy as of yet. “Seoul Station is about an unknown virus that spreads through Korea’s most crowded hub, Seoul Station, while Busan Bound then tells the story of the people escaping Seoul Station to Busan on Korea’s high-speed KTX train.”
Also joining the cast are MA Dong-seok, JUNG Yu-mi, CHOI Woo-shik, AN So-hui, and KIM Su-an.
