It looks like we’re going to be getting a new cinematic and potentially televised zombie experience as Michael J. Roth and Steve Longi have acquired both the film and TV rights to the Broadway musical ‘Zombie Prom’. The original musical had more to do with a zombie coming back from a nuclear accident to return to his true love but we’ll see if that plot remains from writer’s John Dempsey and Dana P. Rowe original work.
The new film will be written by Vince Marcello and Mark Landry, with Marcello set to be in the director’s chair. No word on what kind of a release this will get quite yet or casting details.
