Helheim Games Studio is excited to announce the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for its flagship game, Surviveâ„¢ – Zombie Apocalypse Collectible Card Game. The campaign will launch on June 20, 2015 with several different “backer†rewards, exclusive to Kickstarter supporters.
Helheim Games Studio’s goal is to bring a collectible card game (CCG) to tabletop game players that is fun and challenging. Many card games on the market today are near replicas of existing big-named games, so offering something fresh to the market and its fans is absolutely paramount to helping keep the CCG community thriving.
Surviveâ„¢ encourages players to utilize complex strategies by implementing playfield limits, unique abilities, and variable costs that require a strong focus on resource management. The faction based system allows players to select a preferred theme. Each faction has its own ability focuses, and require different strategies to master.
With over 100 cards in the initial release set, players can acquire new cards to restructure their decks however they feel will best suite their play styles. Cards have varying rarities, based on the card’s rank. The rarity is an important factor, as the more rare the card is, the more powerful it typically is.
Helheim Games Studio has established a recommended player age of 17 and up, due to the abundance of gore and other suggestive themes within the game, which may not be entirely suitable to all players. It is recommended that 2-4 players enjoy the game at one time.
The 30-day campaign—ending on July 20, 2015—is the perfect opportunity to get your hands on a fresh new card game that challenges players at every turn. All of the Kickstarter backers for this project will be listed in a later edition of the rulebook to give credit to everyone who helped bring this amazing game to full production.
