While a shotgun, an ax and a shovel will all come in handy, there are also some tech gadgets and apps that can help you stay ahead of the shambling horde. Here are the gadgets and apps that will be the most handy in the zombie apocalypse.
Gadgets
Iridium Go!: While zombies will likely wipe out the majority of humanity, those who do survive will need a means of communication. Apps
Twitter: You might already use Twitter, which is good because when the zombie apocalypse hits, communication will be key, and those of you who survive can use Twitter for organized retaliation and resistance planning. #apocalypseZ
Do It (Tomorrow): Get organized as quickly as possible. The sad victims of zombies are the ones who didn’t move fast enough. That’s why organization is key. With Do It (Tomorrow) you have a sleek app that lets you enter a to-do list, and if you don’t accomplish it just pass it along for tomorrow’s to-do list.
Glympse: When you ping on Glympse, your location will be sent to anyone who has the app, or is online, for the next four hours. If you forage for food, get stranded on top of a building or are in dire need of rescue, use Glympse to call for reinforcements.
Motion Detector Pro: It does exactly what it sounds like. Position your phone where it overlooks an area and enable Motion Detector Pro. If the camera on your phone picks up motion it will alarm and alert you to danger
