Go back to the beginning! Plants vs. Zombies TM 2 today released a new content update, Modern Day Part 1, available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Dr. Zomboss returns to Modern Day and this time he’s bringing the combined forces of all of his armies across time with him! Experience new levels and new plants including the Premium Plant, Shrinking Violet, a plant that can shrink zombies, making them more vulnerable to damage, and the return of the fan favorites, Newspaper Zombie and Balloon Zombie.
Below is a summary of all the key features in the update:
· Four new plants including the Premium Plant, Shrinking Violet, a plant with the power to shrink zombies, making them more vulnerable to damage, Nightshade, a melee plant with an incredible ‘smacking’ ability, Moonflower, a plant that can boost the power of shadow plants with its glow, and Shadow-Shroom, a plant that poisons zombies when eaten, inflicting damage over time.
· Return of fan favorites: Newspaper Zombie, a zombie whose movement and attack increases once his paper is destroyed, and Balloon Zombie – pop his balloon to save plants from being eaten!
· New Travel Log Quests: Complete tasks to be rewarded with coins and gems!
· 16 new levels including the return of the fan favorite mini-game Beghouled; a fiendish fusion of Plants vs. Zombies and Bejeweled! Perfectly paired plants provide players power to pound zombies zealously!
