Following its premiere at the Dallas International Film Festival, zombie apocalypse film Daylight’s End is already being praised by film critics. Hakeem Kae-Kazim (“Black Sailsâ€) stars as Chris Whitlock, a Dallas police officer who is trapped with other survivors in the precinct building.
Daylight’s End, a post-apocalyptic zombie thriller, is set years after a mysterious plague has devastated the planet and turned most of humanity into blood-hungry creatures that roam by night. A rogue drifter on a vengeful hunt stumbles across a band of survivors in an abandoned police station and reluctantly agrees to try to help them defend themselves and escape to the sanctuary they so desperately need.
The independent action/sci-fi film was shot in Dallas, directed by William Kaufman, and written by Chad Law. The film also stars Johnny Strong, Chris Kerson, Chelsea Edmundson.
